WWW Wednesday 8.29

WWW Wednesday is a weekly post run by Sam of Taking On A World of Words where you answer three questions about what you are reading.

This week I took a week off of work to help my boyfriend move back in after a summer internship, and also because I just super needed some time to unwind after a few crazy months. It’s been so relaxing and I’ve gotten a ton of reading done because of all the extra time.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

Since I’m on vacation I’m reading so many things. I’m currently reading The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett, which is a historical fiction novel about building a cathedral. That doesn’t sound super interesting, but this book is incredible so far. This book is almost 1000 pages so that’s my main thing, but I’m also about to finish A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, as well as Kingdom of Needle and Bone by Mira Grant, which is an ARC.

I’m also listening to the audiobook of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Since I’m home for the week and not spending 1.5 to 2 hours of my day commuting, I’m not getting a ton of listening time in, but hopefully I can finish it up before my loan ends because the waiting list was almost two months!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I recently finished Squire by Tamora Pierce, which is the third book in the Protector of the Small series.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

Hoping to move onto the next book in The Dresden Files and read Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyami (curse those long library waiting times).

What have you finished reading recently? Is there any book you’re excited to read?
